Premier India Bearings Limited is thrilled to announce that its Jamshedpur-based Bearing Refurbishment Centre has been awarded an Authorization Certificate by the Schaeffler Technology Center in Germany, in collaboration with Schaeffler India. The Certification is for the remanufacturing of Spherical, Cylindrical and Tapered Roller Bearings as per Schaeffler Remanufacturing Level-2.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the entire team at the Bearing Refurbishment Center, whose dedicated efforts played a pivotal role in achieving this significant milestone.

The Bearing Refurbishment Centre in Jamshedpur was launched to assist customers in extending the lifespan of their equipment while reducing the environmental footprint of industrial processes. This Certification and the global criteria established by Schaeffler for bearing refurbishment will continue to guide us as we pursue this mission. We remain steadfast in our commitment to providing exceptional bearing refurbishment services to critical industries, while adhering to the highest industry standards.

It feels great to be recognized by our customers for the efforts we put into ensuring their satisfaction. We are honored to have achieved another 100% rating from one of our major steel customers across all three parameters: Quality, Delivery, and Cost.

On May 23rd, our team at Premier, in collaboration with Schaeffler, conducted a highly informative Technical Meet in Girdih focused on "Schaeffler Solutions for the Steel Industry." We were delighted to welcome 75 engineers from various steel plants.

The discussions were engaging and insightful, leaving participants thoroughly satisfied with the solutions presented by the Schaeffler team. A special thank you to Oiswarya Das Das, Technical Head of Schaeffler India Ltd - Eastern Region, for leading the session.

The power of knowledge is magnified when shared with others.

Following the success of our previous seminars, the Premier team, with the help of Schaeffler India, recently organised a Technical Awareness session at a major chemical plant in Maharashtra. The focus was on how Schaeffler solutions benefit the chemical sector and improve operations.

The session was a hit, and participants received a good understanding of the topics discussed, strengthening our connection with them. We want to express our thanks to the Schaeffler India team and the team leads,  Mr. Nilesh Dave – Sr Mgr Industrial Distribution and Mr.Anuj Dwivedi –Technical Officer, for their valuable contributions.

Another successful event… in a row!

After a successful Tech Meet in Ludhiana, Premier India conducted an event in Kolkata, West Bengal. Held in Taj Bengal, the event was attended by 270 delegates from 99 industries spread across sectors like Steel 30, Cement, Mining, Textile, Paper, F&B, Engineering, and many more. On display were products from Schaeffler Lifetime Solutions like HEATER, Puller, and OPTIME, engaging attendees and encouraging discussions. Moreover, the Technical Presentations from Schaeffler led to a productive exchange of ideas and insights among attendees during the networking dinner.

Knowledge shared is success multiplied.

In line with this, Premier conducted a Technical Meet in Ludhiana under the guidance of our Principal Schaeffler India. 120 delegates representing 42 companies from the Steel, Paper, Textile, and Engineering industries were in attendance. On display were Schaeffler's exciting range of products like Maintenance Tools, Gear & Hydraulic Oil, Linear Products along with award-winning Lifetime Solution product – OPTIME. It was a major success, with attendees gaining valuable insights into the maintenance and predictive maintenance product space.

This positive outcome points to the hard work of the Schaeffler India Team. Most notably, the committed direction of Team leads, Regional Head Mr. Amit Jha, Regional Technical Head Mr. Rakesh Gupta, Key Account Manager Mr. Shellender Wadhwa, and Schaeffler Lifetime Solutions expert Mr. Madhur Mishra was instrumental in making this success possible.

Since its inception, Premier has focused on providing India’s leading industries with world-class industry solutions. In keeping with that goal, Premier in partnership with Dodge Industrial conducted a seminar in one of the largest, integrated steel plants in the Eastern region. During the seminar, we identified customer pain points and offered customised solutions using Dodge products. We look forward to many more learni 28 ng opportunities.

Premier does it again!

Premier’s goal is to provide India’s critical industries with innovative bearing solutions. In that direction, the technical team recently conducted a seminar at one of the largest private steel plants in Eastern India. The seminar covered the basics of bearings and other information that will help the client maximise equipment service life. It was attended by the seniors of the steel plant’s respective departments. The seminar was a big success, with every attendee learning in the process.

As an industrial solutions provider, Premier’s objective is to deliver better than yesterday. In keeping with that, an expert team from Schaeffler hosted an upskilling program for our technical team at our Kolkata office.

The IoT Delivery workshop covered topics like:

• Features and application of OPTIME hardware and mesh network
• Provisioning of sensors and gateways
• Dashboard and user configuration
• Analytics, alarms and KPIs available by the system
• Report making

Premier Bearings has achieved yet another milestone! We have been granted the ISO 9001:2015 certification for our Refurbishment Centre and Office at Jamshedpur. Premier Bearings is excited to share the news of their successful technical seminar conducted for a respected industrial player in South-West Gujarat. The seminar was conducted under the leadership of Mr. Bhupen Shah from Schaeffler India, our industrial partner. With over 60 professionals from various departments in attendance, the seminar covered the FAG brand and covered topics like; Bearing Basics, Nomenclature, Storage, Mounting practices, and Condition Monitoring. The attendees greatly appreciated the efforts, and Premier Bearings is excited about hosting more events like this in the future!

Premier’s East India team delivered a bearing and maintenance training session to improve productivity, sustainability, and resource efficiency at an integrated steel plant in West Bengal. The client was pleased with the session and we're confident the learnings will help optimise bearing performance and extend service life.

We demonstrated the uses of Schaeffler OPTIME, a product known for its monitoring and detection features, at one of India's largest steel-making PSU and Maharatna companies. As part of our commitment to deliver top-notch industrial solutions across the country, we anticipate additional opportunities to showcase Schaeffler's innovative solutions to important industries and companies.

We are thrilled to share that our Gandhidham team conducted successful training on bearing maintenance and condition monitoring for a top steel pipe manufacturer in western India.
